A fabulously styled and restored model no.175 rosewood secretary desk by Bernhard Pedersen & Son of Denmark designed in 1968 and rarely available.  All exterior surfaces have been carefully stripped and lacquer finished and present beautifully – with a rich variation in colour and grain. This example was sourced from the original owner who purchased it in 1970 from Heals of London.  Complete with original key the secretary desk features three generously proportioned drawers and a drop-down writing surface that opens to reveal a wonderful fully fitted interior that includes three solid rosewood, finger jointed drawers.  Beautifully crafted throughout the piece also features considerable amounts of solid rosewood in its construction – including the main drawer tops, to the interior fittings, all edges, handles and the legs are solid rosewood – in terms of quality it doesn’t get much better.  A gorgeous piece that is perfct for the home office.
