Borge Rammeskov for Sibast rosewood extending dining table c.1962

Category: .

Product Description

A beautiful circular rosewood dining table with a single extension leaf designed by Borge Rammeskov for Sibast Furniture circa 1962.  Fabulous quality – typical Danish proportions but featuring the most wonderful subtle detailing with a shaped edge to the  overhanging table top that is repeated on the table apron at the joint with the legs.

Sensitively restored the table has been stripped and lacquered (as per original finish) with a soft-sheen highly durable finish – fabulous natural variation in colour and grain throughout and near perfect colour match between the main table and extension.  Very light signs of wear – fantastic patina. Legs unbolt for easy transportation.  In standard size will comfortably seat 4, with extension 6-8.

120cm (diameter) extending to 170cm / 73.5cm (h)
