Product Description

An exceptionally rare ‘Isis’ armchair designed by one of the most important British designers of the period – Robert Heritage for George Stone of High Wycombe.  Beautifully constructed from teak and afrormosia the sculptural frame is clearly influenced by Danish designs of the period with fabulous attention to detail with its curved arms, tapered legs and floating seat.  A fabulous chair with a fully restored and newly lacquered frame (as per original finish), new webbing, new foam cushions and finished in 100% British wool in a lovely textured blue (samples available on request).  Just the odd tiny ding and nibble to the frame.

64cm width (at widest point of arms) x 74cm depth x 74cm height / height to seat 40cm.
