A rare opportunity to own a G-Plan model 403 ‘TV chair’ designed c.1956. This example is being sold as seen and whilst it can be used as is, it does not meet current fire regulations and is therefore sold as an upholstery project – we can provide a bespoke restoration and upholstery service if required, please contact us to discuss. Please see last couple of pics for a previous restored example and original catalogue image. A very stylish chair with its lovely profile, deep buttoned back and angled legs with a small footprint so its perfect for use in the bedroom or hallway. Tension springs to the base and pocket springs to the back with deep cushions make it extremely comfortable so as its name suggests it’s also great for watching the TV! We have a fully restored example with ebonised legs and new teal blue bute fabric coming very soon.
