Rosewood & mahogany extending dining table c.1960

Category: .

Product Description

A rarely seen design by Leslie Layton and Malcolm Lazarus for Uniflex c.1960.  This elegant and wonderfully proportioned table features a richly figured and coloured rosewood veneer top and contrasting solid mahaogany trim, frame and tapered legs finished with adjustable brass feet.  The single leaf extension neatly slides under the main table top when not in use –  near perfect colour match with the main table top. The table will seat 4-6 people in comfort.  Lovely restored condition with a newly lacquered top with just the odd ding and mark only visible on close inspection as the rich colour is very forgiving.

Length 121.5cm extending to 157cm. 84cm wide (at centre) x 74.5cm height.
