An absolutely wonderful Danish inspired sideboard designed by M.D. Walker (commonly known as David Walker) for Dalescraft Fine Furniture of Yorkshire c.1964.  Dalescraft were a low volume, high-quality manufacturer in the late 50’s and throughout the 60’s who produced some wonderful Danish inspired designs with a distinctive British twist.  This very stylish sideboard features a wonderful rich Burmese teak exterior with three solid teak drawers with a fluted fronts and trumpet handles above three lockable cupboards (with original keys) all lined in beech – the left hand cupboard is a drop-down drinks cabinet, the central and right cupboard feature a removable shelf.  Fabulous quality of materials and craftsmanship throughout – in fantastic restored condition with only very light signs of age – wonderful golden honey colour.   A gorgeous British sideboard and exceptional value.
