Striking Satinwood 1950’s sideboard by Everest

Category: .

Product Description

A striking example of British design and craftsmanship produced in the 50’s by Everest who retailed pieces at top end department stores including Heals and Harrods. This unique piece is finished in a stunning richly figured and coloured satinwood with a golden honey lustre – the pics don’t do it justice it really is wonderful. Fantastic proportions and fabulous detailing with the wishbone style legs, routed profile along the front edge and solid brass ‘bobble’ handles – its a real statement and a piece I’ll probably never see again. Wonderful quality of construction and materials throughout – its exceptionally heavy and is made with both veneers and a considerable amount of solid satinwood.  Three spacious drawers – the two smaller ones are both felt lined and sectioned for cutlery and three large cupboards all with a fully adjustable / removable solid satinwood shelves.  I love it and will regret selling it as I don’t think I’ll ever see another – in stunning restored condition with just the odd tiny ding and mark
