Striking sliding door teak sideboard by McIntosh c.1967

Category: .

Product Description

A wonderful and rarely seen design by A H McIntosh & Co – this ‘Drumond’ teak sideboard c.1967 features a pair of sliding doors and wonderful detailing on the three spacious drawers (the top drawer is red felt lined and sectioned for cutlery) with a slide out drinks tray with black formica surface for mixing those cocktails – the sideboard is finished with elegant tapering legs.  Fully restored and presenting beautifully with just the odd tiny ding and mark only visible on very close inspection – wonderful rich colour and grain throughout –  a fantastic example. 10x rarer than the similar sized and very commonly seen Dunvegan (that was in production for nearly 20 years!) and I think 10x more stylish and practical.  A fab and rare design by T Robertson and A Bennett in fantastic restored condition.

201cm length x 41cm wide x 75cm height
